Dave Schulz And Chris Campbell Promoted To Vice President At Shine America

Schulz oversees all aspects of production & Campbell leads post production for company.

Dave Schulz has been named Vice President of Production and Chris Campbell Vice President of Post Production at Shine America, it was announced today by Linda Giambrone, Senior Vice President & Head of Production, Shine America, to whom they both report.

Schulz will continue to oversee day-to-day production across Shine America’s properties and development slate, including the upcoming Oxygen seriesThe Face.  Campbell will continue to oversee all day-to-day post production activities for the company.

“Dave is a very talented executive whose extensive experience in both TV and film make him the perfect person to oversee the day-to-day production efforts of our ever expanding roster of series,” says Giambrone.

Commenting on Campbell’s promotion, Giambrone added, “Chris has overseen post production efforts for many of the top unscripted series on TV today and he’s done a tremendous job putting together our first-class post team here at Shine America since coming aboard.”  

Schulz, who has been with Shine America since 2009, was formerly Executive Director, Production.  Before joining Shine America, Schulz worked as both a producer and assistant director on a variety of docu-series, make-over and competition reality programs for networks including MTV, TLC, Showtime, Style Network and Disney.

Adding to his work in reality television, Schulz has produced and directed independent feature films and documentaries including the award-winning Cult Of Personality about the first mayoral election in post-Katrina New Orleans.

Prior to producing independent films, Schulz was Director of Operations for the boutique film production and international sales company Dream Entertainment and a recording engineer for King Sound. Schulz is also a member of the Directors Guild of America and Producers Guild of America, as well as a voice-over artist.

Campbell, who first joined Shine America as Executive in Charge of Post Production last September, oversees post production efforts for all series.

Previously, Campbell served as Executive in Charge of Post Production for Mark Burnett Productions. His credits include hit series Survivor, The Apprentice, The Contender and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader.

Campbell has co-produced concepts for a variety of major cable networks including: ESPN, MTV, History, TV Land, Spike and TNT. Campbell oversawTournament of Contenders, Bully Beatdown, Expedition: Africa and Wedding Day. 

During his time at Mark Burnett Productions, Campbell was President of Malibu Road Post, Inc., where he created an in-house equipment rental business for Mark Burnett Productions and generated $10 million in revenue.

Campbell began his career in scripted, eventually working as the Post Production Supervisor for the critically acclaimed seriesFreaks and Geeks.

Campbell received his Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. He is a member of the Producer’s Guild of America.
