Chachi Senior, CEO, Ardaban

Chachi Senior was named CEO of Ardaban,  a dedicated entertainment format creation company, in March 2012. Ardaban’s development is exclusively produced in collaboration with Shine America and distributed globally via Shine International.

As the top executive for Ardaban, Senior leads a Los Angeles-based team dedicated to creating and developing new formats for both the U.S. and international TV marketplace.

Ardaban series include Beat The House (HGTV), The One That Got Away (TLC) and the division has numerous series in development with top broadcast and cable networks. 

Senior is one of the leading reality content producers in the TV industry, having sold and produced programming around the world to such networks and companies as: TV Asahi, BBC America, Bravo, Endemol, Fremantle, Fuji TV, Comedy Central, Planet Green, Oxygen, Food Network, Shine, Travel, and Tru TV, among others.

Senior is also an Emmy Award-winning executive producer and director who has launched numerous successful formats including “Chopped,” “Momentum,” “Randy Jackson Presents Lovesong,” “Winsanity” and “No Kitchen Required,” which launched this spring on BBC America. He won two Emmy Awards for the digital series “Book Obsessed,” which he executive produced and directed in 2009.

Prior to joining Ardaban, Senior served as Co-President of IAC’s Notional, where he spearheaded the creation, sale and content production of numerous formats for global distribution, including the hit series “Chopped” for Food Network.

Prior to helping launch Notional, Senior spent three years at City Lights Media, building out its television and digital departments. While at City Lights, Senior created and produced content for brands and networks such as ABC Family, Barnes & Noble, Glamour, Hearst, Kohler, Lifetime, MTV, MySpace, Reader’s Digest, SiTV, Walmart, TLC and WEtv.
