President, Shine America

Eden Gaha, a veteran TV producer and executive, was named President of Shine America in May 2011. Gaha is responsible for oversight of the company's unscripted, creative development, digital and brand integration departments.

 

Since joining Shine America in 2011, he has has worked to revamp the company’s unscripted development team, expand its digital content initiatives and overhaul its current roster of network and cable series.

 

Gaha also serves as an executive producer on several of Shine America’s top series, includingMasterChefon Fox,The Biggest Loseron NBC and the upcoming seriesThe Facefor Oxygen.

 

Gaha joined Shine America from Mark Burnett Productions, where he served as the show runner/executive producer for NBC’sCelebrity Apprenticefor five seasons. His additional credits while with Burnett include co-executive producer forThe Contender,Pirate MasterandRock Star.

 

Gaha also served as a supervising producer onSurvivor, where he enjoyed two seasons on the show and also earned two Emmy nominations. Prior to moving to the United States, Gaha had a successful on-air television career in his native Australia for more than a decade.

 

In Australia, Gaha served as the host of 10 Network’s musical programTake 40,Nine Network’sAnimal Hospitaland Fox Eight’sThe Ties That Bind. He also was a reporter/producer for the Australian version of newsmagazineA Current Affair.

 

Born in Sydney, Australia, Gaha currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Nicola and daughter Eva.
