Rachel Dax, Vice President, Production

Rachel Dax was named Vice President, Production at Shine America in August 2013.

Dax, who is based out of Shine America’s Los Angeles office, helps to oversee all day-to-day production of the company’s unscripted current and development slate, as well as all digital programming initiatives.

Prior to joining Shine America, Dax had served as Head of Production for High Noon Entertainment’s west coast operations since 2010. While at High Noon, Dax oversaw all aspects of pre-production, production, post-production and day-to-day operations of the company’s Los Angeles office. She also oversaw High Noon’s development slate including all sizzle reels, presentations, pilots, specials and series.

She’s previously worked on such series as “America’s Got Talent,” “Guinness World Records Gone Wild,” “Tough Love” and “Road Rules.”

Prior to her tenure at High Noon, Dax managed and produced numerous top unscripted TV series for companies such as Fremantle Media, Bunim-Murray Productions, Evolution and Merv Griffin Entertainment.

Dax also previously supervised all production for Q Television Network, the nation’s first 24/7 cable channel for the LGBTQ community and she also managed and operated Lone Star Studios in Sylmar, Ca.

Dax is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara and currently resides in Los Angeles.
