DAVE SCHULZ VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCTION

Dave Schulz was named Vice President of Production at Shine America in November 2012.

Shultz oversees all day-to-day production across Shine America’s properties and development slate, including the upcoming Oxygen seriesThe Face.

Schulz first joined Shine America in 2009 as Executive Director, Production. Before joining the company, Schulz worked as both a producer and assistant director on a variety of docu-series, make-over and competition reality programs for various networks including MTV, TLC, Showtime, Style Network and Disney.

Adding to his work in reality television, Schulz has produced and directed independent feature films and documentaries including the award-winningCult Of Personality, about the first mayoral election in post-Katrina New Orleans.

Prior to producing independent films, Schulz was Director of Operations for the boutique film production and international sales company Dream Entertainment and a recording engineer for King Sound.

Schulz is a graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and Producers Guild of America, as well as a voice-over artist.
