Joe Schlosser AS Senior VP, Communications

Joe Schlosser joins Shine America as Senior Vice President, Communications.

Shine America continues to expand its executive team with the hire of veteran PR executive Joe Schlosser to the newly created position of Senior Vice President (SVP), Communications, Shine America.

In his new role, Schlosser will oversee Shine America’s corporate branding, trade and consumer media relations, programming publicity, events and talent relations. He will also serve as the company’s chief press officer and as communications liaison with Shine Group’s communications team.

Schlosser previously spent ten years working at NBC, most recently as Senior Vice President, NBC Entertainment Television Publicity, where he supported all media relations, corporate communications and talent relations efforts for both the NBC broadcast network and its sister studio Universal Television. Schlosser also oversaw all communications efforts for NBCUniversal’s Television, DVD and Consumer Products Group and was recently named National Co-Chair for the NBCUniversal Veterans Network.

Previously, Schlosser was Senior Vice President, Communications, NBCUniversal Domestic Television Distribution where he was responsible for all internal and external communications for the division. He joined NBC Universal to oversee communications for international and domestic distribution teams after his tenure with NBC Enterprises, where he served as Vice President, Publicity, from October 2002 through May 2004. Prior to working in communications, Schlosser was Los Angeles Bureau Chief for television trade publication Broadcasting & Cable. He was responsible for all network, cable and syndication coverage for the magazine.
