Linda Giambrone Named Executive Vice President & Head Of Production For Shine America

Veteran TV production executive Linda Giambrone has been named Executive Vice President & Head of Production for Shine America, it was announced today by Eden Gaha, President, Shine America.

Giambrone, who most recently was Senior Vice President & Head of Production at Shine America, will continue to oversee all unscripted production for the studio including hit series “MasterChef,” “The Biggest Loser,” “The Face” and the upcoming “MasterChef Junior” on Fox.

An Emmy-nominated television producer and production executive, Giambrone's credits include production and development oversight of variety, talk, news, game, live events and reality series.

“Linda has done a phenomenal job over the last two years overseeing all production aspects of our unscripted programming slate,” says Shine America’s Gaha. “Her extensive experience has served us well and we’re thrilled to have her with us as we continue to expand our unscripted footprint in the years ahead.”

Giambrone, who has been with Shine America since June 2011, works out of Shine's Los Angeles office and oversees the company's unscripted current, post-production and music divisions.

Prior to joining Shine America, Giambrone was Senior Vice President of BBC Worldwide Productions, where she was responsible for international sales and distribution, BBC Worldwide’s global production offices, as well as the launch of the company’s U.S. scripted business.

While with BBC Worldwide, Giambrone launched "Dancing with the Stars" and piloted, launched and oversaw projects for ABC, NBC, MTV, TLC, Lifetime, The History Channel and GSN, to name a few.

Giambrone started her career in NYC with ABC News and worked as a free-lance producer on a variety of primetime newsmagazines. She later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment production, where she worked on a number of primetime specials and top syndicated TV series.  

Giambrone currently resides in Los Angeles with her husband and daughter and is a member of the Producers Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
