Adam Neal Named Vice President Of Development At Shine America

September 27, 2013 – Veteran TV production executive Adam Neal has been promoted to Vice President, Unscripted Development, at Shine America, it was announced today by Chris Culvenor, Senior Vice President, Unscripted Development, Shine America.

Neal was most recently Executive Director of Unscripted Development for Shine America.
Current projects Neal is developing for the company include “Covert Kitchens” at Spike TV and “Going Wild” at Nat Geo Wild.

“Adam is a truly talented development executive with a great deal of experience and a strong ability to develop fresh and innovative projects,” says Culvenor. “He’s played a huge role in the growth of our unscripted business and will continue to do so as our slate expands.”

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the team at Shine America and look forward to developing the next batch of unscripted hits for our network partners,” says Neal.

Neal, who has been with Shine America since 2012, has worked on projects for MTV, Spike, History, truTV and more since his arrival. Prior to joining Shine America, Neal had served as a producer on a number of top reality series including “MasterChef,” “School Pride,” “Live To Dance” and “America’s Next Top Model.”

From 2008-2009, Neal was Manager of Development for Hearst Entertainment, where he worked on projects for networks such as Discovery, History and Style. Previously he worked as a manager of development at FOX TV Studios, alongside Executive Producer Anthony Dominici.

Neal started his career as a Manager of Talent and Development for Joel Stevens Entertainment.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production from Webster University and currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
